หลังจาก “บิ๊กบอสปราสาทสายฟ้า – เนวิน ชิดชอบ ประธานสโมสรฟุตบอลบุรีรัมย์ยูไนเต็ด” คิดใหญ่ ผนึก 3 ประสาน กับ “สโมสรโบรุสเซีย ดอร์ทมุนด์” ประเทศเยอรมนี และ บริษัท กัลฟ์ เอ็นเนอร์จี ดีเวลลอปเมนท์ จำกัด (มหาชน) จัด “Gulf Football Camp : ชาร์จพลังปลุกฝันนักเตะเยาวชน” เพื่อพัฒนาสนามฟุตบอลเก่าในชุมชน และ จัด Trial Tournament เพื่อเฟ้นหาเยาวชนอายุระหว่าง 10-14 ปี ที่มีความสามารถ พร้อมผลักดันสู่การเป็นนักฟุตบอลอาชีพ
สำหรับเหตุผลของการจับมือร่วมกันนั้น “ป๋าเนวิน” บอกว่า ฟุตบอลไทยสิ่งที่ประสบความสำเร็จไม่ใช่ แค่ได้รับชัยชนะเท่านั้น หรือ เป็นแชมป์เท่านั้น แต่คือการสร้างและต่อยอดการพัฒนาฟุตบอลระดับเยาวชน เพื่อสร้างบุคลากรที่มีศักยภาพ เติบโตเป็นนักเตะมืออาชีพสำหรับทีมชาติไทย
สำหรับการจัดลีกแข่งขันฟุตบอลเยาวชน ภายใต้ ชื่อ Trial Tournament เบื้องต้นจะจัดช่วงต้นปี 2562 ให้เยาวชนเข้ามาแข่งขัน และ “บุรีรัมย์ ยูไนเต็ด” พร้อมจะมอบประสบการณ์ และโอกาสดีๆ ให้กับ 4 นักเตะเยาวชน

จะได้บินลัดฟ้า เก็บประสบการณ์ด้านฟุตบอลที่สโมสรโบรุสเซีย ดอร์ทมุนด์ ประเทศเยอรมนี จำนวน 7 วัน และได้รับสิทธิ์เป็นสมาชิกของบุรีรัมย์ ยูไนเต็ด อะคาเดมี โดยอัตโนมัติ นะจ๊ะ
